Moving to Orlando was one of the best decisions I ever made. I moved here in 2001 to attend the University of Central Florida and have never been able to leave. Why? Good opportunities kept me from leaving. There is something magical about this city (no, it’s not Disney but that is cool too). I feel my life would not be as complete without the help of Orlando. People move here from around the world (my hometown is Miami) and I have to believe they feel the same way.

Orlando is an “underdog” city that many underestimate or don’t really understand. If your visit to Orlando involved landing at Orlando International Airport, driving to one of our tourist meccas, and safely staying within such mecca until it was time to leave then my friend you have not experienced Orlando. I have been to many if not most of the iconic cities in the U.S. and liked a lot about them. When I get home, I always think, Orlando is NEXT. What does this mean? It means that in 20 years or less when you list out all the “cool” cities (Austin, San Diego, Portland, for example) you will include Orlando on that list.
